Stories From The Micro-loan Groups

Ten villages have formed micro-loan groups so far. We met with a half dozen members from different groups. This first example is of a man who owns a small retail store that sells food items and other necessities. He took a loan to buy a threshing machine. Now he can purchase raw casava and thresh it himself, improving profitability.

The group member to the left borrowed a small sum to purchase a new hair dryer. She has repaid the loan and her business is growing.
