“Hitting the Potholes Running” in Uganda - Bonnie Jones

Arrival at each village was always met with hundreds of joyful bright-faced children, music, dancing, speeches and many words of grateful appreciation.

Ministry News - May 2024 Trip to Uganda as Reported by Bonnie Jones

Each day Eric liked to say, "its time to hit the potholes running" as we traversed the dusty, red roads to villages near and far.

In May, Jim and Nancie Rhodes and I made the long trek to Uganda to spend nearly three weeks meeting with people and following up on programs and projects affiliated with the local non-profit Burning Bush. One of the reasons I’m pleased to serve on the Burning Bush (BBI) board is the transparency involved in this ministry. We were accompanied by native Ugandans Eric and Suzi Sabiit, our dedicated and faithful ministry partners on the ground in Uganda.
