Nutritional Assistance And Medical Treatment
The nutrition center was originally formed to provide meals to preschoolers suffering from malnutrition. In years past, this area suffered greatly from poor nutrition. But God allowed the center to morph into a preschool. Now, 116 children every day learn their ABC's and enjoy a nutritious meal.Parents are taught how to prepare meals that are nutritionally balanced.
BBI FUNDS EMERGENCY CARE AND SURGERY FOR THE INDIGENT
We were able to meet with five individuals who benefitted from treatment funded by BBI. Edmund came to the Tororo Hospital a few months ago, see photo below, in much pain suffering from oral rashes, swollen feet, and extreme malnutrition. BBI was able to secure treatment for him and now you can see he is doing well.
The next story is about Daniel. He came to the hospital with malaria, measles, and was malnourished. His family is thankful to God and BBI for his life-saving treatment. As you can see, he is now thriving back at his village.
SHARING SCRIPTURE AND SERVING A DELICIOUS MEAL WITH AIDS PATIENTS AT MUKUJU HEALTH UNIT
Brian Crittendon shares scripture before a nutritious meal is served to AIDS patients. BBI also provides basic medicines to the clinic that wouldn't be available otherwise. The medicines are kept under Eric's care and only given to patients who receive a prescription from the clinic's physician.
