Review of Medical Support Programs

BBI funds basic medical supplies at the Tororo Hospital, the Mujuku Aids Clinic, and the Ngora Health Center.

Medical assistance is provided by BBI to patients who have nowhere else to turn. All meds are controlled by Eric Sabiit’s staff members and are only dispensed via a doctor’s prescription. These meds are mostly for newborn or young children on an outpatient basis and for other patients when the clinic meds are lacking, which is most of the time at the Ngora Center. We visited more than a half dozen individuals in their home village who were recovering from BBI funded treatment at the Tororo Hospital.

 Here are a few examples:

These basic meds are secured each day following patient dispensing at the Ngora Health Center.

Malnourishment continues to be a major problem due to misinformation and overall ignorance about a child’s diet. This little girl and several other children we met are recovering well after treatment.

This young lady’s lower body was severely burned when she experienced an epileptic seizure and fell onto a vat of boiling grease. She is now expected to recover but with some limitations to her movement.
